Hey there! My name is Maitê, I'm a Brazilian animation student at Algonquin College, in Ottawa.

Ever since I can remember, I've been fascinated by cartoons and illustrations. Before going to college, I did my best to learn everything I could about art and animation by myself, using content available online. My passion for creating stories and giving life to characters is my biggest motivation to take part in the animation industry.

Most of the influence on my work today comes from fantasy books, video games, and modern cartoons, (Steven Universe and Adventure Time being my favorites!). Musicals and DnD are also a great source of inspiration to me.
